Hometown: Durham, North Carolina
Undergraduate education: Psychology Major and Sociology and History Minors at the University of San Francisco, Class of 2011.
Choosing Wake Forest Law: I really just went with my gut. I felt a positive vibe when I went to visit the school. I was also awarded a great scholarship that allowed me to choose Wake Forest!
Favorite experience with Wake Forest Law: Taking Poverty Law with Professor Steve Virgil and studying abroad in London last summer.
Plans for after graduation: I would love to be an Assistant District Attorney in North Carolina after graduation.
Wake Forest Law involvement and accomplishments: Public Interest Law Organization, the Innocence and Justice Clinic with Professor Rabil, Know Your Rights volunteer. Being inducted into the Pro Bono Honor Society last year was a special experience.
Life outside of law school: I love politics, reading, my dog Wallace and working toward criminal justice reform.
Not-so-fun fact: I was in a hot air balloon accident many years ago…we crashed into a house. (Everyone was okay!)
